To answer how much a barfine is, here are a few answers:

1500 Pesos at the low end to 4,000 at the high end

In Balibago recently, net advised that the average fine would be 1000, but that appeared to be old info. The actual rates were 1200 to 1300 - all inclusive. Only a tip to pay the next morning if happy with the outcome.

We have heard that in Manila a barfine only gets the girl released from the bar. Her services are extra.

Make sure the girl gets about 1500 Pesos. Thats included her share of the barfine and your tip. She would be happy with that. If you give more she would of course be happier. If you give less she still wont murder you in the sleep, but she might refer to you as a T.Y. when talking to friends. (T.Y. is short for someone who doesnt tip. Only say thank you)

The above is not in concrete, you can and sometimes get the opportunity you make your own deal with the girl (personally) but that’s not rule of bar laws
